🏡 Another transformation complete!
Our crew recently finished a full exterior renovation on two apartment buildings and a detached garage, including:
✔️ All new windows ✔️ New vinyl siding ✔️ New soffit & fascia ✔️ Replacement of rotted wall sheathing beneath damaged windows ✔️ Proper window and door flashing throughout
One thing we want to highlight is something you can't see once the project is finished...
💧 Proper flashing around windows and doors is one of the most important parts of an exterior remodel.
Too often, we remove old siding and discover hidden water damage caused by missing, incorrect, or failed flashing. Water doesn't need a large opening—it only takes a small gap to work its way behind the siding, where it can quietly rot the sheathing, framing, and insulation for years.
On this project, we found multiple areas where moisture had already caused significant damage. Rather than cover it up, we replaced the deteriorated sheathing, installed the proper flashing details, and made sure every window and door was sealed the right way before the new siding went on.

Sometimes the smallest projects make the biggest difference. ❤️
A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of building this small accessibility ramp for a wonderful homeowner. While it may not be the biggest project we've taken on, it has already made a huge difference by giving her a little more independence and making it safer and easier to get in and out of her home.

The weather has been a bit rough lately, but we finally managed to get our first addition of the season all sealed up! 🏠 This new space is going to make such a difference. I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
