Thank you Jim for 40 years of service to The IBEW Local 106 and for his years of service as an apprentice instructor, estimator, mentor, project manager and officer for Ahlstrom Schaeffer Electric Corp. You will be missed!!

Chautauqua Music is Jamestown New York’s oldest music store. They have been in business for over 40 years supplying the surrounding area with all of their music needs. Today the neon Chautauqua Music sign has been lit up properly for the first time in 25 years! Ahlstrom Schaeffer Electric was happy to accept the challenge of rebuilding the sign and bringing back Chautauqua Music’s iconic look. Stop down and see Billy for all your music needs and make sure and give him a thumbs up on the sign when you see him…he’ll love it.

With the uncertainty we are all experiencing during this time, we wanted to share with you that Ahlstrom Schaeffer Electric Corporation is continuously monitoring the situation. While we are currently open for business, our main focus is the health and safety of our employees, our customers and the communities we work in. We are constantly evaluating the COVID-19 impact and monitoring all available information and guidelines from the CDC and WHO.
Our Service Department remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your emergency electrical needs. Our Construction Department is still working on essential projects. And our Office Staff, while limited, is here for all of your electrical needs via phone or email.
We are committed to continuing to provide uninterrupted service to our customers. However, we have instituted some changes for the safety of everyone. Our office, while open, will not take any in-office visits from customers or salespeople. All deliveries must be made to the loading dock.
Our Field Personnel work in dynamic environments that may pose unique challenges. We have provided all of our employees with a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan from the CDC. Employees are instructed not to come to work if they are not feeling well. We also encourage employees to be attentive to their surroundings and speak up if they do not feel safe or are concerned about their personal health. We would like to ask our customers to cancel service calls if they are not feeling well. We do not want to put our employees at any risk.
