We had a slow and cozy start to our day today with all the rain and chilly weather. The perfect breakfast on this gloomy morning was these Sourdough Blueberry Cinnamon Crunch Biscuits (and farm fresh scrambled butt nuggets) 🤤 I wish you guys could smell these! It’s a great way to use up any discard you have sitting around.

Nutritious food doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated. Tonight we had chicken noodle soup made with our farm raised chicken, homemade chicken bone broth, and fresh herbs from the garden with a side of sourdough toast. It feels good to feed my family food that I know where it comes from and cared for with my own hands.

Okay so no matter how long you’ve had chickens, collecting eggs is always exciting and rewarding (at least to me lol).
