It’s hard to believe, but this year marks the 50th anniversary of Nolan Electric, Inc.

When my dad, Joe Nolan—or "Sparky Joe," as most knew him—started this business in 1976, he didn’t have a crystal ball. He had a set of tools, an unwavering commitment to doing the job right and made the decision to take a leap of faith.

Today, as I look back over our journey, I’m incredibly proud to celebrate not just the company’s milestone, but the legacy of three generations working in the electrical field.

From Dad’s original vision to where we stand today, it’s been a privilege to carry the torch of excellence, integrity, and "Peace of Mind" for our home and business customers in North Georgia and beyond.

To our team, our partners, and our loyal customers who have supported us since '76—thank you for being part of our story. Here is to the past 50 years, and to the many more to come. ⚡

Good Information

If you’re using a generator during an outage, please turn OFF your main breaker before connecting it.
Generators that aren’t properly isolated can backfeed electricity into power lines, creating a serious risk that can injure or even kill a lineman who believes the line is de-energized.
Our crews are your neighbors, friends, and family members—and their safety depends on everyone doing their part. If you’re unsure how to safely use a generator, please contact a licensed electrician.
Thank you for helping keep our community and our line crews safe. 🤝⚡
