Kid Librarian is a new program that both libraries are offering. It’s an opportunity for a kid to work with a librarian in creating their own display of items at the library. 📖

Nolan was the Osage County Kid Librarian! He had fun creating his display, and some of his favorite books are Dog Man and the Magic Tree House series. He asked his mom if his name was chosen, could he dress like a librarian, and he did!🤓

Robert was the MRRL Kid Librarian! He loves Bad Kitty books and The Bad Guys books. His favorite things about the library are Storytime and crafts. When Robert grows up, he wants to be a paleontologist!😄

National Library Card Sign Up and Hunger Action Month are here! The Main Library and the Osage County Branch are thrilled to announce some awesome events happening in September. 🥳

First, we have free replacement cards! If you have lost your card or put it through the washer one too many times, we have you covered. Stop by in person or fill out the form online at our website www.mrrl.org.✅

Next, we have our food drive. This year’s food drive is a little different: when you drop off a non-perishable food item, your name will go into a raffle for a chance to win one free admission ticket to opening night of the MRRL/ABLE Book Sale that happens in March (this is saving you $10.00)! You can be entered into the raffle once per donation. At the end of the month, we will draw two winners.🥫💯

Finally, we will have social media giveaways, fun reels, and, of course, all our normal programs and classes this month! 👏
