Capital Aggregates is recruiting 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 in both Jefferson City, MO and Missouri City, MO for our traveling dredge crew! Pilots will be responsible for the overall safety of the crew, barge, tow, and cargo during their watch.

Key responsibilities/requirements:
🛥️ Safely navigate the barge or tow while assuring the remainder of the crew performs their daily functions
🛥️ Ensure vessel navigation equipment, VHF Radios, machinery, rigging, and all related equipment are in operating order
🛥️ Maintenance of an accurate and current log
🛥️ Timely investigate all accidents occurring during their shift involving boat and crew and make reports to the main office
🛥️ Qualified candidates hold an active MMC (Merchant Mariner Credential)

Bob Cox joined Capital Sand Company back in January 1977 as a Boat Pilot, hired by Mike and Bud Farmer. After 48 incredible years, he’ll be retiring at the end of the year. 👏

We were honored to celebrate him on Tuesday at his retirement party - sharing many stories and expressing our deep gratitude. Thank you, Bob, for your loyalty, hard work, and the passion you’ve brought to CSC for nearly five decades!
