Today is my 8th year in business. It has been a wild ride. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be doing some of these projects for a living. I have enjoyed working outdoors, even when it’s cold. While my jobs may have shifted from one area to another, one thing I have always focused on has stayed. To give the customer the best outcome I can give.

I have met many new people in this industry. Between customers and other contractors, I have made many great acquaintances and friends along the way. My kids get on to me every time we stop at a gas station or a store, because someone wants to talk. It’s probably always my fault. 😁

I know If I would have stayed at my old job I would have had a lot less stress, Bones that wouldnt have been broken, and missed less kids activities. Small business Is hard. Everyone says It, but some of the projects and accomplishments I have achieved makes it worth it.

To all my customers that have read this far, thank you. To all my future customers, I hope I meet your expectations. Thank you all. ✌🏻

Our Story

Cavaness Contracting was established in 2007 during the recession. We have obtained our jobs solely by word of mouth for the last 10 years.

Here is a list of jobs that we perform: Dirt, rock, and mulch hauling. We have 3 single axle dump trucks to make hauling in residential areas an easier task, without having to worry about making ruts or breaking driveways. We do concrete removal and installation. Sidewalks, driveways, and garage floors. Cavaness Contracting works with a lot of subdivisions with replacing street sections. We do retaining walls; small blocks to bigger Versa-Lok blocks, including the 2’x4’x2’ 2500lb “Lego” blocks. I am trained and certified in the State of Missouri for Advanced onsite wastewater treatment system installer (septic.) We have skidsteers and an excavator for land clearing, grading, excavating, and whatever you can come up with. We can prep ground for sod, and we do a LOT of underground gutter drain pipes.
