Q&A’s - don’t be this guy!

Does w**d barrier work? Not since I’ve been alive.
What should I put on my yard to kill the w**ds, but not hurt the grass or anything? Absolutely nothing. They’ll die out in the summer heat.
My grass is turning brown, am I not watering enough? No, just the opposite, you’re watering too much.
How often should I water my plants? Every day. Just like we need water every day, so does anything else that’s alive.
Should I put rocks where the water is always standing in the yard? No, rocks don’t soak up water. But dirt does, grass does, a French drain could help, or dig a trench.
What trees grow really fast? The trees that you’re going to water and fertilize daily. Oh, and patience helps.
What took you so long to mow? I spent an hour picking up all the sticks in your yard. I don’t want to pay for new blades, and I’m not trying to bust out your windows. That’s why?
Why is it so expensive.. my yards not that big? Cause I don’t live in your spare room. I had to drive to get here, I had to buy gas, oil, blades, filters, string.. and that’s on my truck and the equipment I’m gonna use to cut it. But if you have a pair of sharp scissors, then knock yourself out.

Just don’t be that guy. It’s 105 degrees, if you don’t wanna pull your w**ds, what makes you think anyone else wants to. And hauling off sticks and debris isn’t free. Loading it isn’t a hobby either. But you can always help!

Boat Ramp, down Thompson Camp Rd., that is a boat ramp, not a park, no camping. So what in the world interest you into camping there that has more trash and hooks, nasty crap. But please bring your kids, latex gloves, your friends kids. An eat at the boat ramp that probably has something we don’t even know about. Sure…. Sounds like the perfect spot! Well it ain’t. This is a public boat ramp. Not a dump site, not a park, not a campground, and not your backyard. Every piece of trash thrown out in this area (among many other places, like hwy 49, etc…), eventually makes its way into the river. The trash pollutes the water, is toxic for any wildlife, and kills natures beauty. We swim in this river, fish in this river, make memories on this river, and enjoy its amazing scenery. Because we happen to live down this road.. we clean up the mess. We also ask those who use this boat ramp to please take your trash with you when you leave. It is so embarrassing to know that there are some who have no respect for the environment, and do not care that others, including their children, are watching how lazy and pathetic some humans can be. You should be ashamed of your actions, and should’ve been given an extremely high citation for all the damage that trash does to everything it touches. My neighbor, a friend, and myself cleaned it all up the best we could…… like we do at least once a week. We only ask that you dont litter and hope we don’t catch you littering. Big Cypress Bayou is a beautiful river, don’t trash it.
