This photograph, taken in October 1957, shows an employee of the Parkway Theater walking down West Jefferson's Main Street dressed as a ghost. While promoting their films, it was not uncommon for Parkway employees to dress up as movie characters, hold raffles, or other special events that would draw in customers. This theater employee must have been advertising something spooky!
