Threats: Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms over the next several days could cause localized flash flooding in urban, low-lying, and flood-prone areas.
Location: Far western mountains today. Most of the area on Monday. The entire area Tuesday through Wednesday night.

Today through Wednesday night
Overview and Impacts:
Heavy rainfall from multiple days of showers/storms could lead to localized flash flooding.
Heavy rainfall rates: One to three inches per hour possible in the stronger storms or where multiple storms pass repeatedly over the same locations.
Urban flooding: Ponding of water on roadways, flooding of low-lying, paved, and poor drainage areas.
Small rivers and streams: Rapid water rises taking small rivers and streams out of their banks, especially near low water crossings.
