Check out this custom built in.

Former doorway between entry hall and living room transformed into a hall tree (still need to add hooks). Repurposed the existing door frame and a fireplace mantle for the bench seat.

We drywalled over the other side for a solid wall, but this side the restoration was complete. I think it ties in beautifully with the existing trim and wallpaper.

Over the winter those aluminum jacks were under this garage window. When the ground froze and heaved, it pushed into and broke the window. The Boss Man discovered after leaving his tool belt hang for a few days the wren that's been visiting decided she was taking up residency in his cozy pouch.

Looks like he's being forced to break in the new pouches that have been sitting and waiting for a couple years. Change is hard; he's got a soft heart and when push comes to shove, a momma wren a three eggs wins forcing the change.

Come see us on Sunday at the Lake Mills Aztalan Historical Society, Inc.'s Halloween Harvest event. This is a great opportunity to show your support in preserving our local history. The kids not only enjoy the unique treats the sponsors give out they love to see the museum site. Our treat bag contains a mini activity book, Mrs. Woolever's homemade caramels and our business card (you'll know the treat is safe - we put our name to it).

We're in the midst of a Lake Mills bathroom re-model (waiting for the plumber to finish), helping a fellow contractor in a Fort Atkinson kitchen today, trying to find the best solution to making a Lake Mills home more accessible this week, looking to squeeze in a flooring repair in Lake Mills ASAP and will start a Jefferson basement remodel April 1st.
