on a steep nasty trail, we can do it! We have installed and repaired snowmaking pipe as far south as North Carolina, as far up the coast as Maine and everywhere in between. Tatro Construction has been working with Zap-Lok Pipelines Systems for over thirty-five years and holds exclusivity for the snowmaking application in the Eastern portion of the U.S. We currently process any API5L X-42 steel pipe from 4" - 12 " pipe and up to schedule 80. This revolutionary system changes the way that snowmaking pipe is installed. What you get in return is increased quality in your snowmaking systems, reduced production time, and decreased impact to your project site.

-Working on Renewable Energy: With the continuing rise in demand for energy and the impact of fossil fuels upon the environment, G.W. Tatro firmly believes that renewable energy provides a sound solution. This includes work on wind projects, solar projects, and hydro projects (see below). Hydroelectric: G.W. Tatro Construction has installed more than one million feet of pipe, including hydroelectric penstock, underwater sewer lines, snowmaking pipe, and various municipal sewer and water projects. Our experience in hydroelectric repair and replacement projects runs deep: we have replaced 9000 feet of deteriorating penstock in varying terrain. We also have experience with a variety related services, of which include in-stream work, demolition and concrete repair. We pride ourselves in our familiarity and expertise with permit compliance, wetland mitigation and protection, river stabilization, and implementation of erosion, sediment control, and monitoring. We have held co-permitee status at a myriad of high profile environmentally sensitive projects over the last several years.
