Author Tamra Bolton says “Memorial Day is the day we pay homage to all those that didn’t come home. It is a day of solemn contemplation over the cost of freedom. It is a day to pause and reflect upon the many service members who risked and ultimately lost their lives fighting on behalf of the United States.”
Freedom isn’t free. Thank you to those who are selfless enough to stand up for our freedoms. We honor and respect you every day but today especially.
