A door is the one piece of millwork you touch every day, and one of the few that changes the wall around it.

Here’s how we think through height, core, casing, curves and stone before anything gets framed. Swipe through 👉

Going taller means a new header. Going frameless means the frame goes in before drywall. Going arched means the slab, jamb and casing all get built to the radius. Going stone means templating after framing. Every choice moves something, so we draw the opening first.

Under contract. ✨

This one is personal. Before Citizen Builders built homes for anyone else, they built one for themselves: a full remodel, taken down to the studs and rebuilt into a space that worked for the way they actually live. Unique finishes, thoughtful details, and a lot of problem-solving went into making it home.

That house is where the ideas started, and where they learned what custom really means. Now it’s time for its next chapter, and for theirs.
