No draft, no flame. On a gas furnace like this horizontally installed Goodman in Roslyn, the burners aren't allowed to light until the draft inducer motor has established draft, and the diagnostic found that motor needed replacing. We installed a new inducer motor assembly and ran combustion safety checks. During our visits we also took CO readings at the vents (0 PPM on the meter) and added a bright red gas burner emergency shut-off switch, so the furnace can be turned off without a trip to the breaker panel.
