Work will include mowing, lawn maintenance, running chainsaws, brush cutters and applying herbicide using a backpack sprayer and pumper unit.

Applicant must be able to obtain a herbicide applicators license after hired.

Soil disturbance is the main factor that causes stilt grass to spread. In the forest this disturbance most often comes from logging. While logging is a valuable forest management tool, it can have detrimental effects on the site without proper planning. The best way to do this is to leave all the skid trails and log landings open and in good condition after the harvest, allowing for easy access and affordable treatments.
