Seaside Home Builders Since 1990, Seaside has been building custom homes on Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island. Seaside's owner, Todd Delaney, lives on Seabrook Island.

For Todd Delaney, custom construction is a way of life. His experience working summer jobs as an assistant superintendent for apartments and doing interior remodeling work taught Todd the importance of working with clients as partners and the value of the little things—the details—that make a house a custom home. At the age of 22, Todd started his first contracting company, and in 1980, he went to

work for SHWC Architects in Houston, Texas, as a design coordinator, designing school buildings and drawing the plans. For the next few years, he continued working with major developers in Texas and Florida and moved further into the home-construction field, learning how to effectively manage crews and complete jobs in a timely and cost-efficient manner. In 1986, Todd moved to Seabrook Island and began home remodeling on his own. In 1990, he started Seaside to work with clients as a custom home builder on Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island. Todd’s focus is on custom home building and home remodels, in which he can demonstrate his artistic flair and eye for design. His experience as a tradesman and natural talent for construction and building for refined lifestyles, gives him the ability to visualize every feature of the completed project and explain it to clients, architects, and interior designers. Todd’s design, management, and building experience allow him to be involved in every phase of every job from start to finish. He takes special care to ensure that his crews produce the highest quality work using the finest materials available. His enthusiasm for what he does is evidenced in the meticulous manner in which he and his crews work. Todd has made it the goal of Seaside to please every client and to build or remodel every home as a unique expression of its owner’s ideals, lifestyle, and personality.
