At the jobsite this week, the guys broke up the floor in the old living room connected to the new addition in preparation for new matching flooring to be installed. Sometimes in a remodel, you never know what is under the layers until you get down to it.

Challenge accepted, right? 😁

New floor joists were placed for reinforcement, followed by new 1 1/8” subfloor.

Our week looks different with each Monday, never the same ol’, go to the same place, clock in and clock out! 🕠 One thing we love about what we do is we always get to see new places and meet new people! You just might see T.C. and C**t, like at this first prep day for a new add-on/remodel on the left, and a few days later you may see us at another job site, wrapping up the last finishing tasks of a job to make it pull together to look complete, like the installation of this custom shelf/cabinet! 🤗

That NEW house clean! ✨ What can the wife of a contractor do? Clean up that job site! 😉 Loved seeing the beauty under the fine dust that comes with new construction. As this add-on is coming together and getting closer to being finished, we are very excited for the homeowners, but it’s also bittersweet because they are just the coolest people and we love seeing them and visiting with them!  New floors, paint, and fireplace coming soon in the original living area! 😃

Spring time is for new!! 🌱 New plants, new baby farm animals, and a new getaway spot! This 2,000 square foot home-away-from-home near Parsley Crossing in Hamilton County is well underway. The homeowner milled all the porch beams, posts and rafters for the porch…and the guys made it come to life! I think each home has its own personality and character, what do y’all think?
