These problems happen far too often and most of the time can be avoided. Both of these had started out with minor lights flickering. Lighting shouldn’t consistently flicker, there’s an underlying issue. Occasionally lights will dim a little when a large load is turned on, such as AC’s and heaters, but will resume back to full brightness, which is normal. At the first sign of lights flickering, plugs not working then start working again, call the professionals.
