What have we been up to Wednesday!

We have been busy on a variety of jobs this week and it has been quite the adventure! From broken drainage pipes to sump pumps to our own busted pipes. Yes, even plumbers have busted pipes from time to time! 😩😂

When you are faced with a busted pipe or a sump pump that suddenly stops working, calling to have a repair done right away will save you stress, time and money versus waiting. We know the holidays are the busiest time of the year but water doesn’t stop flowing and will cause further damage if not stopped right away!

Welcome to fun fact Friday!

Did you know that we call a toilet the "John" thanks to the inventor, Sir John Harrington? Yea, me either. Also, the toilet has royal ties, Sir John Harrington happened to be the godson of Queen Elizabeth I. I wonder if that is why we also call it the "throne". Who knows, maybe we will find out on another fun fact Friday!

Welcome to the final week of fall!

As you start to prepare to hibernate for the winter, don’t forget to disconnect your outdoor water hoses and shut off any other unnecessary outside water source to keep it from freezing. Taking a few minutes disconnecting hoses and checking for leaks could potentially save you from burst water pipes down the line. No one wants a flooded crawl space or basement and depending on the damage, the repairs can be quite costly.

Now that we have our page up and running, I wanted to take a quick moment to introduce ourselves!

We are the Taylor family! We are a blended family comprised of middle school sweethearts that reconnected later in life with 7 amazing kids! With such a large family you can imagine we have a very diverse list of hobbies, the list is long. Our most current hobbies include carting our children to and from their activities and school events. 😂

Red’s Mechanical has always been the dream. A dream that has been in the works for many MANY years. We finally took the leap and jumped in feet first about a year ago in order to focus on the things that matter to us most. We truly value quality, honestly and transparency. We take immense pride in our work and will always focus on quality ensuring you are happy with any service completed. With over 20 years experience in the plumbing/pipe fitter field we are confident that we have the proper knowledge and tools to take on any task. From changing faucets to complete remodels, we have the experience and the raving fans to prove it.
