Maintenance is very important...

We often take for granted the electrical systems in our homes and businesses. Section 110.3(B) requires us to install and use listed equipment in accordance with any instructions included with the listing. But what about after the dust settles and the installer and inspector are long gone? Equipment maintenance is often overlooked and can lead to some very dangerous conditions like a disconnect being supported by a cable ran through aluminum siding. How do you educate customers on the importance of upkeep to their electrical equipment?
