The school room (aka the dining room) is set up for this years school year!

I won’t lie and say im not nervous about this school year. Despite it ultimately being the best decision for our family, it does NOT come easily for us. Especially now with three boys in the mix.

But I really am excited for it and I think this year will be more structured and productive for us. I’m excited to see what this school year has in store for this little school room 💫

If a room feels overwhelming and you don’t know where to start to make it feel more like a home, start with a tiny corner.

I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the pink and blue dining room. So I started with a tiny corner. I painted one wall with all of the coats it needed, and then decorated it.

And once I saw that tiny corner I knew that this would make our house feel ever more like home.

First time growing in a green stalk and I want 15 more lol. You can pack so much food into a tiny 2 square foot space. Plus it’s PINK!

This is really where I WANT to be. And trust me we get the comments of “what is this the 1950s” or “how much did you have to beat her to get her to want that” and those aren’t the online comments. Those are from real life people that my husband really works with lol.

I guess people can’t comprehend *wanting* to do this.
