Power inlet boxes (PIB) make the connection from your generator to a Manual Transfer Switch (MTS) simple. The PIB sits on the outside of your home and connects to the MTS. When an outage happens, there's no need to unplug your appliances and attach them to extension cords running outside to your generator.
