a spherical story 🌑 oversized globe suspended midair, quirky grass green and ebony stained lamps, and of course our custom circular screen detail, dividing dining from living.

in order to keep things from being tooooo perfect, scattered cutouts in slits and squares and oblong shapes punctuate the rugs underfoot. because every good story needs a twist!

moving through the house: the lower gym bath, to adjacent sitting room, to principal on the main, to pantry. a through line creating calm even with all the bold choices. a favorite?? the paule marrot piece anchoring the sitting room scene. and you?

mother’s day 🌑 can mean many different things, both beautiful and hard. this year, it means something new and heartbreaking for our family — processing my dad’s recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. it has made posting here a little more difficult for me these days but I’m endlessly grateful for our supportive team who always remind me that we are not alone in this, and who carry out the work we do in such an excellent way.

these are photos from the tiny plane we’ve been taking — Kev is working on his pilot’s license to get me to and fro more quickly — and from the peaceful shores of lake huron where our family lives.

and the last slide…. ‘s capture of our crew. happy mother’s day…. thankful for so much—the beauty and the growing and the pain, and the peace of knowing what is to come. 🕊️
