We have had a lot of questions about the current boil water advisory in Kalamazoo.

1. Empty all ice from ice makers and shut them off until the all clear sign. Better safe then sorry! (Unless on RO water)

2. When we have the all clear sign, change your whole house filters. We should be changing them now anyway because of hydrant flushing. Many are probably noticing low water pressure.

3. This is a picture of an RO tap. We've had a few people reach out regarding them. Your RO (reverse osmosis) is 100% safe to drink from during a boil water advisory. It takes everything out. We recommend changing your filters soon after the advisory is lifted but you don't have too. If you are interested in RO for your home, give us a call!

5 stage RO filters make your water safe to drink. Dump your ice makers if not on the RO!

A boil water advisory was issued Saturday for all City of Kalamazoo water customers.

Happy birthday Mike. I know you and mom are having a great time up there. Probably playing cards today ,euchre, pitch or cribbage. I miss you bro , hard to believe 24 years has went by so fast. I can still hear you saying,” I’m good at all my games “ .
I missed the competition and all the things we used to do, especially on the ponds in the winter time. You and defense Rick and I on Office. You made it extremely hard for us and we loved it. Give mom a hug and kiss for me. Love you, brother. Hope you’re having a great birthday.!
