Summer Hours will be in effect beginning on Tuesday, June 2nd.
We will be switching over to Tuesday-Friday 8am- 4pm.

This week is our last week of 9am- 5pm until we switch back to our winter hours.

We hope to see you out here! Plenty of well-seasoned firewood available.

Power is out here at WMW. (As well as most of the valley)
We will not be able to weigh any customers in or out, so we are effectively closed until power is returned to our scales.

We apologize for the situation, and we hope that no one is inconvenienced too much by this outage.

UPDATE: We are open today, March 4th, with both machines back up and running strong! We hope to see you out here.

Good Morning!
It is Tuesday the 3rd of March, and we will be starting the day off down our big firewood processor. A small electrical fire took out the wiring harness and joystick yesterday afternoon. We have tracked down a new joystick and should have it replaced in the next few days.

In the meantime, we will have our small machine up pumping out firewood. Plenty of white wood and dark available, but please do expect a longer wait than usual for loading if we do happen to get a rush.
Thank you for understanding, and we will update you as things develop.

We apologize for the late update, but as of opening today, Wednesday the 21st of January, we will be hand-load only for the first hour or so.
We pulled the saw off of our big firewood processor to to get straightened out, as it had developed a bad wobble.

It will be down until sometime next week.

We had planned on our small machine running this morning, but we have to fix a hydraulic leak first.

We have plenty of wood available for hand-picking, and we should have the machine back up before too long!

Please expect longer wait times the usual without our more efficient wood-cutter down.

Good Morning!
Due to a late afternoon Thursday breakdown, we will be without our big firewood processor for the first hour or two of today, Friday the 9th.

We have plenty of wood below for hand-loading, and will have our small machine cutting wood this morning.

Happy New Years Eve!
We originally were scheduled to be off today, the 31st, but have decided to open from 9am to 3pm in a limited fashion.
We will be open for handload customers and a some small trailer-loading only. We will only have our small machine running while our big firewood processor gets some down time for repairs.
We hope that this helps some of our customers out during this cold spell.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We will be out here Tuesday and Friday this week 9-5pm. We are closed on Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th to enjoy our holiday!
We will carry the same schedule into next week, taking off Wednesday the 31st and Thursday the 1st.

We hope everyone has a joyous end to 2025 and a great start to 2026!

Happy Thanksgiving week! Our crew is looking forward to the holiday and spending time with our loved ones.

This week, we will be out here Tuesday the 25th, and Wednesday the 26th from 9am to 5pm.
We will be taking Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th off to get the most of one of our favorite holidays!

We will resume our regular Tuesday-Friday 9-5 in December.

Our future Christmas-New Years days are not set in stone, but we currently planning on being closed 12/24, 12/25, 12/31 and 1/1.

As of noon today, Wednesday the 15th, the line for our processor is cut off.
The trucks and trailers we have waiting will take us to the end of the day.

We will still be cutting wood for hand loaders, but it is getting picked up faster than we can out it down at the moment.

Our line for the processor will open back up tomorrow at 8am.

A late afternoon breakdown has shut down our production for today, Tuesday the 14th.
We hope to have our machine up and running tomorrow morning.
Due to this break down, we will be starting the day out with very little hand-load wood, and the first hour of our processing day will go to restocking this supply.

We apologize for anyone who is inconvenienced by this break down.
We promise to keep doing our best to stay on top of things, but unfortunately, breakdowns will be a semi-regular part of the process.
