This homeowner's roof was completely torn off down to the decking so we could inspect every inch and ensure a solid foundation before installing a brand new roofing system. Damaged sheathing was replaced, ventilation was upgraded, and every step was completed according to manufacturer specifications.

The finished result? A beautiful new roof featuring Owens Corning Duration shingles in Slate Stone Gray that not only looks incredible but is built to protect this home for years to come.

🏠🔨 Another Roof Brought Back to Life! 🔨🏠

This project required a full tear-off down to the decking, allowing us to inspect the structure underneath and ensure a solid foundation for the new roofing system. During the process, damaged and deteriorated sheathing was identified and replaced, restoring the roof’s integrity before installation of the new materials.

At Silverback Construction, we believe in doing the job right not just covering up problems.

A quality roof starts with a sound deck, proper ventilation, and attention to every detail from start to finish.

As your roof is being replaced, we encourage homeowners to safely step outside and observe the process. Not all roofing jobs are completed the same. You may notice some crews moving faster than others, but in some cases that may be because proper steps are being skipped such as tearing down to the decking, replacing damaged wood, or installing the correct underlayment.

A quality roof takes time, and every step matters to ensure your home is protected for years to come. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and make sure the work is being done the right way!

Happy Tuesday! 🏠🔨

Our team has completed the prep work and full tear-off on this home. During the process, we discovered 2 layers of underlayment along with soft, rotten decking caused by delamination.

This is exactly why proper inspections and tear-offs matter hidden damage isn’t always visible from the ground. We’re getting this home taken care of the right way! Stay tuned for the transformation. 💪
