Worried about the potential for E. coli in your pool? If your pool is well-maintained, the risk is very low. According to the CDC, a pH of 7.0–7.8 and a chlorine concentration of at least 2 ppm will destroy E. coli bacteria in most pools. If in doubt, superchlorinate your pool with a strong shock treatment like GLB Supersonic and wait 24 hours to enter the pool. We’re open 9-3 today if you need a water analysis or want to pick up shock.
