In this latest renovation we took the original laundry room off the kitchen and turned it into a bulter's pantry. We then added washer/dryer hook-ups in the primary closet and turned a large closet upstairs by the other bedrooms into their laundry room. No one is toting laundry up and down stairs!!
We also did a cedar lined ceiling in the upstairs laundry for added freshness in case a kiddo leaves their laundry in the washer a little too long lol

The primary suite renovation was the star of the show! We took space from an unused parlor and expanded the closet and bathroom. We included washer/dryer hook-ups in the closet and a built in dresser. The bathroom went from awkward and cramped to spacious and spa-like.

Don't forget to think about grout color and room usage. The original penny tiles were only a year old but all that platinum grout was just too much work to keep clean. The homeowner was thrilled with the larger tiles and darker grout. I also went with epoxy grout to help prevent staining.

Brookside bathroom reno. From square tiles to timeless subway. Keeps a small space light and bright. Ended up replacing the window due to water damage and insulating the exterior wall while it was open. Floor tiles and fixtures were in good shape so they stayed.
