1 gallon of contractor grade paint now costs $72…. Most cover about 200-250sq feet per gallon … a “medium” size room is 14x12 =412 paintable sq ft…to cover that takes two gallons for one coat… 2 coats you say? Going to need about 3.5 gallons.. …

Easily $250 bucks on materials out of the gate..

Paint/material costs have almost doubled.

Plan on accounting for a room costing more than it used to for paint 🤓
