The Builders’ Association is a full-service, nonprofit commercial construction trade association. We represent more than 800 general contractor, subcontractor, supplier and service provider member companies employing about 20,000 people. With over 125 years of service to the commercial construction industry, we also operate training and plan room service centers in Kansas City, Jefferson City and
Springfield, as well as our Education & Training Center in North Kansas City. The Builders’ Association’s sister organization, the Kansas City Chapter, AGC, currently represents over 130 firms and is part of the AGC of America, the largest and oldest national construction trade association in the United States. With a broad range of hi-tech and traditional services, The Builders’ Association is positioned for a strong future. In recent years, we have become a leader in the development and delivery of web-based education and training among construction trade associations, and continue to expand our services in this area. The Builders’ Association has embraced the fast-evolving digital landscape with innovative services designed to give our member companies a competitive edge. Members use the Builders’ EPR (electronic plan room) to find projects, bid work, and increase their revenue. The new ProjectConX platform supports not only the bid process but the entire project management process throughout construction.
