🏠 HANDLIN CONSTRUCTION LLC – REAL ROOFING CASE STUDY

This roof didn’t just have hail damage — it was also prematurely aged from improper attic ventilation.

Because the attic was not balanced with correct intake and exhaust ventilation, heat and moisture were trapped under the roof deck. Over time, this caused the roofing substrate (sheeting beneath the shingles) to deteriorate far sooner than it should have.

This resulted in the homeowner having to spend additional money to replace damaged sheeting before the new roof could be installed.

The cause:
❗ Lack of intake ventilation
❗ Thermal imbalance inside the attic
❗ Premature aging of shingles AND sheeting

The solution:
