Most people only see the project once the work begins. This is what happens before that.

Josh and Pete were out in Olathe, KS taking final measurements and going over the details for an upcoming exterior project. Those measurements will be used to order the new door, plan the siding around it, and prepare to address a rim board that has been affected by water damage.

It may not be the part that makes the final before-and-after photos, but this behind-the-scenes work is a big part of how we prepare for a project before construction ever starts.

From tear-out to the final details — here’s what a deck transformation looks like with Acumen Renovations.

This Lee’s Summit, MO project started with the removal of the existing deck stairs. From there, our crew rebuilt the structural framing, installed the new landing and staircase, and finished it with Deckorators decking and balusters.

The result? A completely rebuilt deck entrance designed for a cleaner look, stronger structure, and an upgraded outdoor space.
