Reduced Fogging: Running the fan helps to clear the steam and condensation that can fog up mirrors and windows. This makes it easier to see and use the bathroom fixtures immediately after your shower.

When choosing an air filter stay away from the high priced brands with the pleats tight together. Choose a filter more like the 3rd picture with the pleats with more of a gentle wave. The first filter will do a good job of collecting stuff from the air, but will restrict airflow to the furnace often causing unneeded strain on the equipment and can even cause the air conditioner to freeze up, or the furnace to shut off because it gets too hot.
