Here's a sneak peak of kitchen we are excited to share! 😍 The cabinetry is Bayer Interior Woods knotty hickory with a Soft Sand finish. The tile is Maniscalco South Loop Series in Cinder, and the countertop is Corian Quartz Grigione. We'll be sharing more photos of this kitchen when the millwork portion of this project is complete. Stay tuned!

🏆🫎 NEW: Moosefest Parade Float Contest! 🫎🏆

The Karlstad Chamber of Commerce is adding a little friendly competition to this year’s Moosefest Parade!

Businesses, organizations, families, teams, and community groups are encouraged to get creative with their parade entries for a chance to earn the official Moosefest Parade Float Trophy—and plenty of local bragging rights!

How to enter:

📸 After the parade, submit a photo of your float or parade entry.

Email your photo to [email protected] or upload it in the comments here.

Once submissions are collected, the Karlstad Chamber will share all eligible photos together in one Facebook post.

👍 Community members can vote by liking their favorite photo.

🏆 The entry with the most likes will receive the traveling trophy to proudly display until next year’s contest—similar to our Chamber Holiday Light Contest!

We may also submit the winning photo to the newspaper for additional recognition and publicity.

Please remember to take a clear photo of your entry during or immediately after the parade.

Introducing Minnesota’s 2026 Cabinet Queen Hayley and Lumber Lady ‘Lica! They will be making their parade debut tomorrow, at 1 PM in Karlstad, at the Moosefest Parade!

Although Sand Ridge opens at 9, the Queens will be available for well-wishes and photo opportunities starting at 10 AM at Sand Ridge!
