Installing PCD diamonds the right way matters when you’re removing existing coatings from concrete.

PCD diamonds come in a left and right side, and they are designed to work with the rotation of your grinder. When facing the machine, your left PCDs go on the left grinding head and your right PCDs go on the right grinding head.

Since these are magnetic, installation is simple — just snap them into place. A good way to remember the direction is to look at the notches: you want the notches to hit the concrete first, so they should point inward toward the center of the grinder.

Correct placement helps improve coating removal, protects your tooling, and helps your grinder work the way it should.
