We’re excited to welcome Bethany back to the Wilkins ADP team! Bethany brings experience in both commercial interior design and landscaping, along with a creative eye and a passion for making spaces better. When she’s not designing, you’ll likely find her cooking, baking, gardening, or tackling another project around her and her husband's home, with two labs and a cat keeping life plenty interesting along the way! We’re so happy to have Bethany back and can’t wait to see all that she brings to the team!

Yesterday was an exciting day in Yankton, SD, as we joined the Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust team to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of their new building! Since opening in Yankton in 2021, Elkhorn Valley Bank has continued to grow, expanding its presence in the community with a second location to better serve customers and support continued growth.

This is our second project with Elkhorn Valley Bank and we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue working together. It’s always rewarding to see a project come to life, but even more so when it’s with a returning client and a team we’ve enjoyed partnering with along the way. Congratulations to the entire Elkhorn Valley Bank team on this exciting new chapter!

Today, we celebrated the groundbreaking of Subconn's new facility in St. Paul, Nebraska! It was great to hear about Subconn's growth over the years and their continued commitment to rural Nebraska communities. We're excited to be part of this project with Scheele-Kayton Construction and help create a space that supports their continued growth for generations to come. Congratulations to the Subconn team! We can't wait to see this project come to life!

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon-cutting of the new Fillmore County Head Start in Geneva, Nebraska! After more than 25 years in a former church building, Blue Valley Community Action Partnership - BVCA explored renovation and new construction, ultimately determining that a new facility would be the more cost-effective solution.

One of the most rewarding parts of the celebration was hearing how much the Head Start team loves their new space! Throughout the design process, our team worked closely with them, introducing ideas and solutions they hadn't previously considered. Those conversations helped shape a facility that exceeded their expectations. Now that they're using the building, they shared that they wouldn't change a thing! Congratulations to Blue Valley Community Action and Fillmore County Head Start on your beautiful new facility!

Having Joee with us made it even better! As a former Wilkins intern and current UNK student, she shared her experience firsthand. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat!

Studying Interior & Product Design, Construction Management, or Graphic Design and looking for a spring or summer internship? Reach out to Kristi to learn more about opportunities with Wilkins ADP!

Attention University of Nebraska at Kearney Students! Our team will be at the UNK Career Fair talking internships and what it’s like to be part of the Wilkins team! Kristi will be joined by Joee, a former Wilkins intern and current UNK student, to have conversations with students and hear firsthand what the internship experience is really like.

Construction Management students, we want to talk to you, too! If you’ve always pictured your future in the construction field but have an interest in design, this may be the opportunity for you! We’re looking for a Construction Administration intern and would love to tell you more about what that role looks like at an architecture firm.

Stop by and see us Thursday!

Hannah and Kristi spent yesterday at Southeast Community College's Construction Day at the Milford Campus, connecting with students and introducing them to the many construction career paths involved in bringing projects to life. Having both experienced community college firsthand, it was especially rewarding to encourage students as they explore future opportunities in the construction industry. We're proud to support events that help students explore their interests, discover future career options, and learn more about the world of construction.

Last night, Bertrand Community School celebrated its past, present and future, as they honored the teachers and people who have shaped generations of students and then cut the ribbon on its newly renovated CTE shop.

What that new space represents goes well beyond the building itself. It gives students more opportunities to learn hands-on skills, explore the trades and prepare for careers. In a close-knit community like Bertrand, the connection between education, workforce and community is easy to see. The students learning in this shop today may very well be the people building, fixing, creating and keeping Bertrand moving tomorrow. Congratulations, Bertrand Community School!
