By saving historic buildings, we actively invest in the future of our local communities.

Revitalizing historic downtown spaces creates ripple effects that go far beyond the property line: preserved heritage, small business growth, increased community engagement, and new life for spaces that have sat underutilized for years.

One of the biggest things we hear from property owners is that restoration feels “too complicated” or out of reach. That’s exactly why we make it a priority to have those early conversations. This helps clients understand what a project could realistically look like before they commit to anything.

Thoughtful preservation creates lasting value for generations to come.

Considering restoring a historic property? Let’s start the conversation.

Another project successfully completed.🙌🏻🦏

This Early Head Start facility was designed and built to provide a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for children, families, and educators. We're proud to have played a role in bringing this vision to life and creating an environment that will serve the community for years to come.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this project a success. Wilkins Architecture Design Planning

Two buildings. Nearly a century of history. And a community that deserves to see them live again.
We're currently restoring the Ord Old City Hall (built 1921) and the Masonic Lodge (built 1928), two landmarks that have stood silent for far too long. These structures once anchored the Ord community, and ensuring their preservation is a way to honor the history of Ord.
Historic preservation is some of the most meaningful work we do. It asks us to slow down, study what was built before us, and honor it, while making it functional for what comes next.

With a population of 919 people, Kenesaw, Nebraska is the kind of town where everyone knows everyone, and every building carries a memory.

The Kenesaw Auditorium has been a cornerstone of this community for generations. We were honored to step in, restore it with the care it deserved, and hand it back to the people who love it most, so families in Kenesaw can once again use it as a gathering place for years to come.

We had the privilege of sitting down with Jody, the City Clerk of Kenesaw, and Neil, President of the Kenesaw Community Development Corporation, to hear what this building means to the people who fought to bring it back.

Their words say it better than we ever could.
