If you’re looking for something to do today (Saturday, Aug. 29), head to downtown Kearney for an afternoon and evening full of food, shopping and fun — including the 24th Street Market, fun for kiddos, plant bingo, co****le, trivia and, of course, plenty of BBQ.

We’re proud to have a BD Construction crew in the competition, and judging by their setup, they came ready to represent!

We're thrilled to share the latest progress from the jobsite! The Bertrand Public Schools' CTE space is coming together just in time for the fall semester, and it's exciting to watch a space take shape that will serve students, staff, and the entire community for years to come.

With the Viking mascot leading the charge, we'd say this project is heading in exactly the right direction.

That’s right—FOUR ribbon cuttings in one week. This fourth celebration carries a particularly meaningful purpose.

After 25 years of partnering with schools, we know the way education is delivered continues to evolve. What hasn’t changed is Kearney Public Schools’ commitment to creating opportunities for every student to succeed.

Cottonwood Elementary will serve students who benefit from more individualized attention and a highly structured learning environment. Smaller class sizes, lower student-to-staff ratios and intensive academic, behavioral and social-emotional support will help students build confidence and work toward long-term success—all while maintaining the same academic expectations as other KPS schools.

BD Construction is proud to have helped create a space where students can receive the support they need to learn, grow and thrive. Congratulations to KPS and everyone who helped bring Cottonwood Elementary to life!

It's especially rewarding to return to a building we helped create and seeing new opportunities take shape inside it.

A few years ago, BD Construction built Dr. Mandy Johnson’s optometry office Optical Gallery. Today, we’re excited to celebrate the building’s continued growth as Dr. Graff begins offering dedicated care through her business, Focus on Kids , within that same building. Through specialized pediatric eye care and myopia management, Dr. Graff is helping growing eyes see clearly now and for years to come.

We love watching the businesses inside the buildings we build grow, expand and thrive with new ways to support the communities we serve. Congratulations on this exciting ribbon cutting!

Big careers can begin with a little imagination—and a little dirt.

BD Construction is proud to have donated the new Construction Zone exhibit in the Kearney Area Children’s Museum’s outdoor classroom. Here, young builders can dig, design, problem-solve and experience the satisfaction of turning an idea into something real.

Construction offers meaningful, fulfilling and well-paying career paths for people with many different talents—from the skilled trades and project management to design, technology, estimating and more. We hope this exhibit encourages children to explore, create and even imagine themselves building the communities of tomorrow.
