A beautiful fall day for digging in the PNW! (We’ve got a budding photographer on the crew, right?!)🍂☀️

Our crew has been getting it done at the Clark County Event Center! We’re making some great progress on underground utility work here. Recent efforts included locating and connecting to an existing sewer line, installing piping, and backfilling and compacting the excavation.

With the autumn sunshine and colorful trees surrounding the job site, we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for a day of digging!

BIG stuff happening beneath the surface at the historic Longview Post Office! 💌

Our crews are hard at work on underground infrastructure improvements, including waterline upgrades and preventative measures to help protect the building’s basement from water intrusion. 💧

Working alongside a historic structure requires extra care! So, our team is taking precautions to protect the property’s original brickwork and concrete, keeping equipment and construction activities clear of these features to help preserve the building’s character.

It’s a careful balance of updating essential infrastructure while respecting the history that’s already there!

Another day, another guy in a hole! 👷‍♂️🚧

The P.R. Worth crew is back at the Clark County Event Center in Ridgefield, WA!

Did you know the Clark County Fair has been bringing the community together since 1868? Originally held in Vancouver’s Esther Short Park, the fair moved to its current home in 1955, where generations of Washingtonians have enjoyed everything from livestock shows and carnival rides to concerts and community celebrations!

These days, our crew is busy beneath those historic fairgrounds, installing new waterlines while navigating existing utilities and groundwater nearly 9 feet below the surface. This latest round of work included carefully digging around stormwater pipes, installing another section of waterline, and backfilling and compacting the trench.

A little piece of local history, with plenty of work happening below the surface! 💪

Not the most exciting part of your day, but the most essential! Every day starts with a plan to keep everyone on the same page, but more importantly a safety meeting to keep everyone onsite SAFE! 📬 A little history and a little demolition in Longview, WA! 🚧

Our crew is hard at work at the historic Longview Post Office! Built in 1934, this beautiful Art Deco building has been serving the community for over 90 years and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places!

This week, our team got to work saw cutting and breaking up asphalt and concrete, including a hefty 10-inch layer of concrete hiding beneath the asphalt! They also uncovered an unexpected void beneath one of the drilling locations. Just another reminder that you never know what you’ll find once you start digging!

With debris hauled away and the work area secured, we’re making progress while working alongside a little piece of Longview history!

Another happy, muddy Monday, brought to you by more guys in holes! 🚧👷‍♂️

The crew has been hard at work at the Clark County Event Center, making progress on the underground sewer installation!

Despite some groundwater challenges (and a whole lot of mud), the guys have been busy installing sewer pipe, setting manholes, backfilling trenches, and preparing for the next section of the project.

There’s a lot more that goes into underground utility work than just digging holes, and our crew is keeping things moving, one muddy step at a time!

Reveal of one of our biggest projects this year! 🏥

The Vancouver Peace Health Rehab building is coming down, and a brand-new rehab facility is going up!

Not only is this a massive project, but we were brought on with very little notice. Our strong reputation for safety and reliability helped make P.R. Worth a trusted choice to step in and take on the challenge.

We’re proud of the trust placed in our team and excited to show you what’s ahead! We’re also having a great time working with Pence Contractors and Three Kings Construction!
