Firefighter Bill Adams is back on the scene with the P.R. Worth fire tender at the Sinlahekin fire up in Northern Washington. Big thanks to Bill and the rest of the crew. This fire is almost at 50% containment - let’s pray for 100% very soon!

Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before things start coming together! 😂🚧

A rainy day changed the paving plans at Cosmopolis Elementary, but the P.R. Worth crew kept things moving — backfilling, compacting rock, prepping for concrete, and getting a fresh section poured and finished. Plus the fun of seeing a few guys in holes 👏

Not a bad day’s work when the weather tries to throw a wrench in the plans!

The P.R. Worth crew is keeping things moving at Jesuit High School in Portland, with plenty of excavation, grading, and underground utility work happening across the site!

A lot of what’s being built right now will eventually disappear under concrete, pavement, and landscaping… But! This is the work that makes everything above it possible! 💪

Not the flashiest stage of construction, but definitely an important one! 🙌

Things got a little hot and steamy at the job site today! 🔥🚧

The P.R. Worth crew was back at Cosmopolis Elementary, putting down some serious asphalt. Two full loads, about 22 tons, went into completely paving the west side of the gym before the crew moved on to prep work on the east side and excavation for the auditorium waterline.

Old asphalt and concrete came out, fresh rock went in, and everything was compacted and cleaned up as the work moved forward.

And because it is an elementary school, apparently a few kids decided the dirt pile here looked too fun to leave alone and scattered some impressive dirt clumps around the site. 😂 No harm done. The crew cleaned up their bonus mess along with ours before calling it a day! 🙌

Beautiful day to get a little dirty in Cosmopolis! ☀️🚧

The P.R. Worth crew was back at Cosmo Elementary, making plenty of progress while the Washington weather decided to cooperate.

The waterline was backfilled, new storm drainage was installed and passed inspection, and everything was watered and compacted as the crew worked their way back up to grade. Over by the gym, they also got the area prepped for the new ADA ramp and started preparing for additional concrete work.

A little digging, a little demolition, a whole lot of compacting, and one very nice day to be working outside! ☀️

Making way for what’s next at Jesuit High School in Portland! 🚧

There’s been a whole lot of digging, hauling, rerouting, and site prep happening on this project…

The P.R. Worth crew has been busy excavating for the new building footings, removing existing waterline through the building footprint, bringing in and compacting rock, preparing shoring, and working through utility reroutes as the site continues to take shape.

It might look like a lot of dirt right now, but there’s a plan underneath all of it. 👷‍♂️

One scoop, one trench, and one truckload at a time!

We walk the line… the waterline, that is. 🎶💧

Another 240 feet in the ground at Cosmo Elementary! The P.R. Worth crew installed a new valve at the tie-in point and laid approximately 240 feet of new 2” poly waterline.

The new line was secured with rock in several areas, flushed to clear out air, and then put to the test at 150 PSI overnight to make sure everything holds as it should.

After that, the site was swept, cleaned up, and secured for the night.

Johnny Cash may have walked the line, but we’re pretty sure his was a lot less work to install. 😂

Just another clean day on the (Jesuit High School) job!💧

The P.R. Worth crew got down and dirty, literally, tying the new rerouted water line into the existing system. After draining the line, the crew made the connections while working in what can only generously be described as “less than ideal spa conditions.” Unless you *dig* a mud bath 🛀

Once the new section was connected, West Slope turned the water back on, checked everything for leaks, and approved the tie-in. The pipe was then wrapped for protection, covered with ¾” rock, and the line was flushed!

A little mud, a lot of digging, and one more successful tie-in in the books. ✅
