Nearly 9,500 serious injuries are reported because of fireworks- nearly half are under 15. Parental supervision and protective eyewear are the two best preventative measures.

Also, some cities/counties are issuing burn bans are fireworks restrictions because of the hot dry weather. Make sure you community allows the celebrations you have. With all that, have a safe, happy Independence Day!
