How crazy is this?! It's ugly, bad for the tree and the water bags are expensive. Tree Stabilizer Kits eliminate all this nonsense. The city is also reporting that more than 50 of the bags have been stolen or damaged by thieves. I'm sure you can buy them back on Craigslist.

The setup in this photo cost 3x as much as a single Tree Stabilizer Kit.
