Like many of the homeowners we work with, this project didn’t happen overnight. These kinds of builds usually represent years of planning, saving, and thinking it through before the first form board is ever set.

❄️Weather like this is actually a good time to step back and look at your property as a whole.❄️

Not just the concrete, but where water collects, where it runs, and where it has nowhere to go around your home. Ice and cold temps tend to slow everything down, which makes drainage issues a lot easier to spot.

👉🏼 This is the perfect opportunity to take a look around your property and see if you notice any problem areas.

👉🏼If you do notice anything that doesn’t look right, that’s the kind of thing we help homeowners with. Concrete and drainage go hand in hand, and addressing small issues early can prevent bigger problems later on. We can’t control Mother Nature, but we can help redirect her.

⚠️Weather in Texas is getting real…real cold.🥶
And as much as we’re warned and made weather aware, the one thing we can count on is not knowing the full extent of it until it’s already upon us.

🚧As concrete experts, we wanted to share a few simple tips to help you get through potential ice and snow while keeping damage to a minimum on your driveways, sidewalks, and patios.🚧

📌Avoid using salt or chemical deicers on concrete, as these can cause surface damage during freeze and thaw cycles.
📌If you need traction, use sand, plain non-clumping kitty litter, or gravel instead.
📌Try not to chip or pry ice off the surface. Metal shovels and sharp tools can leave damage behind.
📌Keep standing water off your concrete when possible, like from sprinklers, hoses, or runoff, since frozen water expands and can lead to cracking.
📌Slow and steady is best. We know ice has to come off so you can use your driveway or walkways, but going at it gently can help avoid damage.

2026 is here and we’re living it.
Can you believe we didn’t post one single time in 2025? Serving our community, pouring concrete, and welcoming our newest crew member into the world will do that.

We’re here now and excited to start sharing again. Completed projects from the past year, what we’re currently working on, and what’s coming next. We’re not letting another year slip by on social media.
