Every driveway doesn’t need a full replacement.

If your gravel driveway is solid, not showing signs of rutting or problem areas, but you’re tired of tracking sand into the house, or you just want to clean up the look, our Scrape & Cap may be a great option for you.

Since it was sandy material we scraped 5” off the surface and capped this driveway with 2” of D1 for a hard pack base, followed up with 3” of recycled asphalt. Rap binds up well and keeps material from being tracked into your home.

Some shots from our Robinson Loop site prep. Making sure this client’s house is built on a solid foundation. It’s what we do. 💪🏼

Parking lot replacement & landscape install for a repeat client. I love my community & we’re grateful for every opportunity we get to show what we can do. Shoutout to Peyton Williams for helping me out in a pinch!

Gave this rental property a facelift.

Replacing the approaches and a section of the parking lot for better dumpster access, then scraping and capping the rest with D1.

Re establishing a drainage ditch to give the swampy standing water somewhere to go. Always love getting out on the trusty John Deere 50 and getting it done.

Spring breakup had this site fighting us every step of the way. Saturated soils, swampy ground, and a few close calls with the 145—but we’re finally moving dirt, building up with gravel, and making progress.

Sometimes it takes a little extra grit (and a pressure washer) to get the job done. Alaska always keeping it interesting, finally getting some sunshine ☀️ 😎

One of the things that makes excavation interesting—you never know what you’re going to find.

This “simple” 4 ft dig for a slab-on-grade turned into a full-on investigation real quick. When the Spur Hwy was put in, they buried cleared trees and stumps throughout these back lots. Turns out this client’s driveway sat right on top of one of those bury pits.

I thought I hit bottom around 8–9 ft when we found clean sand… kept digging and didn’t fully clear the debris until 13 ft.

There was definitely a point where I should’ve swapped the 306 for a bigger machine—but we rode it out to the end.

Jobs like this, with deep and uneven excavation, make a strong case for investing in an excavator compactor attachment.
