Leap and the net will appear. But you have to leap first.

This is the hardest part of being an entrepreneur. The moment before you jump. When you can't see the safety net. When you don't know for sure it's going to catch you.

Everyone wants guarantees before they leap. They want to see the net first. They want proof it will work.

But that's not how it works.

The net appears AFTER you jump. Not before. You don't get to see it. You don't get certainty. You get faith.

This is what real leadership looks like.
It's not the title on your business card. It's not the Instagram posts about being a boss. Real leadership is understanding that if your team is going to succeed, if your family is going to thrive, if your business is going to grow — someone has to carry the weight.

I know that sounds harsh. But it's the truth most people won't tell you.
Everyone talks about what they want. What they're working toward. The goals they're chasing. The dreams they have.
But most people don't want it badly enough to actually do what it takes.
Because getting what you want requires sacrifice. It requires saying no to things that feel good now so you can say yes to something better later. It requires working when you don't feel like it. It requires facing fear. It requires giving up comfort.
Most people aren't willing to do that.
So if you've been chasing something for years and you haven't gotten it yet, here's the real question: Do you actually want it? Or do you just like the idea of it?

The best investment you'll ever make isn't money. It's showing up for the people who matter.

I've learned this the hard way. Years of grinding. Years of building Handsome Lawn Service. Years of chasing growth and revenue and expansion.

And the moments that actually matter? The ones my kids remember? The ones that shaped who they became?
