Dorothy Cecilia Simpson Smith, to say this in the way I am saying this was something I never thought would be doing anytime soon, I thought we would have had 30 plus years left of birthdays together. Way To soon to have you gone from me. I think about you everyday and speak to you just the same as if you was here. I know you're in a better place and without you here has been a weird void I feel in my world has left me the very same day you went to heaven. I hope you're dancing with Kevin today, I hope he's found you and y'all are laughing at us down here. Y'all left us to DAM soon and just it isn't the same without y'all around. I feel like picking up the phone or driving by your house to talk to you but I realize that it isn't possible. I watch the videos of you and smile and surely have some tears and get angry at what I could have done to prevent what happened with you. I feel that James surly helped with the shorten span of your life with the information that he withheld from me and everyone else and didn't tell no one which surly would have gave you another 10 to 20 years. But instead he lied and said that he had 5 to 6 months to live cause he has cancer and he had to go be with his sister in Virginia, which he lied about the whole time and about the guy that he was living with. Not a guy it was the girl he was staying with and nothing but lie after lie from him. Funny thing is this, it's been a 1 1/2 since you passed away and that man told me a year before that about him dying in 5 to 6 months. So It is a total of 2 1/2 years since he told me that. To what you know the man, is still very much alive and working everyday and your the one gone from us when it could have been avoided but he didn't let that happen. Believe me mom I'm sorry that I couldn't take it away from you with the amount of pain and the hurt you went through, I promise you this mom, I would have took everything from you and gave it to me. I would have changed places with you so you wouldn't have dealt with the time you were gone from the babies, and they are growing up so fast.
With that said my beautiful mother. Happy Heavenly Birthday and can you save a dance for me for when we meet again. I love you and miss you dearly. See you in my dreams and tell Kevin i sure miss him too and love him.
