A new chapter is underway! 🎉
CROFT is proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Henry Louis “Hank” Aaron Academic Complex at Atlanta Technical College.
The transformed complex will support emerging fields like artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, film and media production, and more. The design will improve student experiences with innovative learning environments and expanded student services.

We’re honored to help carry forward the incredible legacy of Hank Aaron and his belief in the power of education and opportunity.

A new chapter is taking shape at Atlanta Technical College.

The groundbreaking of the Henry Louis “Hank” Aaron Academic Complex marks the beginning of a nearly $30 million transformation, and CROFT is honored to be part of it, providing architectural, interior design, and engineering services for the renovation and expansion.

The 55-year-old complex will be reimagined to better serve today’s students and tomorrow’s workforce, with new spaces for Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Manufacturing, Film & Media Production, and an expanded One-Stop Student Services Center.

This project is about more than updating a building. It’s about creating spaces that support learning, innovation, connection, and opportunity for generations of students to come.

We’re excited to see this vision take shape and to help carry forward the legacy of Henry Louis “Hank” Aaron, a legacy rooted in excellence, opportunity, and impact.

There are bucket list moments... and then there are Braves bucket list moments. Congratulations to our Founder & CEO, Jim Croft, on the incredible honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Atlanta Braves game! This wasn't just a stroll to the front of the mound. Jim took the full regulation pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches and delivered a solid pitch all the way to the catcher. No bouncing it. No lobbing it. Just one confident throw from the mound. For someone who spent a lifetime on the baseball and softball fields, this was a moment, decades in the making.

Of course, Jim didn't leave anything to chance. In true CROFT fashion, he prepared. Over the past several weeks, he logged more than 1,000 practice pitches with his brother, Joe Croft. From Kennworth Park Softball- Acworth, GA D-BAT World Headquarters Baseball & Softball Academy, to the pitching mound at Allatoona High School, if you saw someone throwing baseballs around Cobb County Government, chances are it was Jim getting ready for the big moment. The best part? Sharing it with family and members of the CROFT team, who were there to cheer him on and celebrate an unforgettable experience together.

Congratulations, Jim! You proved that preparation meets opportunity... and that dreams don't have an expiration date. Now the only question is... who thinks the Braves should call him back for the bullpen?

A refreshed space designed to better serve the community.

CROFT, as Albion GC's design-build partner, worked with the City of Douglasville - Government to transform its Conference Center into a modern, welcoming destination for conferences, celebrations, performances, meetings, and community events.

The renovation reflects a commitment to creating spaces that are both functional and inviting, with updated interiors and ADA enhancements that improve accessibility.

Our team provided architecture, interior design, and MEP/fire protection engineering services to support the renovation of the grand ballroom, auditorium, meeting spaces, business center, boardroom, pre-function areas, green rooms, and rear terrace.

We’re proud to help create spaces where communities can gather, connect, and celebrate for years to come!

Congratulations to CROFT's Chris Jung (Civil Engineering Manager) and Grace Stogner (Architectural Designer) for their outstanding showing at the recent Pickleball Partners Foundation Tournament! The duo earned six match victories and a Top 3 finish while supporting the educational foundations that serve Gwinnett County Government, Forsyth County Georgia Government, and Walton County School District - GA.

At CROFT, we believe that strong schools build strong communities. That's why we're proud to support events that bring people together to invest in students, educators, and the future of our region.
