Our President Sandy Dougherty is volunteering a year of service with AmeriCorps. They are raising funds for supplies for tutors working one on one with struggling readers in our area through the non-profit, Reading Assist. Any donation would be greatly appreciated! Thanksgiving Weekend 1987 after Edward Dougherty a union carpenter. Who had worked his way up to Eastern Regional Superintendent for Johns Manville Commerical Insulation Installation Division received word that they were closing the division. He and his wife Sandra, were faced with either transfering across the country with their young children or to go out on their own and start an insulation company. That discussion at their kitchen table 36 years ago was the beginning of Tedco Insulation! Thank you to our employees, customers and friends who have all helped us along the way! The guy in this picture was a 28 year old kid when he decided to risk it all and go out on his own! Yeap that’s Ed Sr circa 1986. Happy 36th Birthday Tedco!
