Students from Kenosha Unified Schools entering seventh, eight and ninth grades participated in four days of a "Skilled Trades Summer Camp," a hands-on day camp which exposed them to the many career opportunities within the architectural and construction fields. Pieper Electric participated with hands-on demonstrations and presentations while learning side-by-side with professionals.

Branches 14 and 50 were awarded the Chase Bank contract to install solar power panels to over 40 locations throughout Northern Illinois. Tim Calanca is the Branch 14 Foreman running the project.

The Great Lakes Construction Association hosted its annual APEX Award and Dinner Gala Celebration. The Spirit of Cooperation Award recipients are shown in the photo. Kevin Kempf (2nd row, 6th to the right) attended, representing Pieper Electric. Over 25 GLCA member companies donated time, money and materials to turn The Lake County Veterans Memorial project located at the Waukegan Airport into a reality.
