Free upgrade from a 3 tab to an Onyx black Owens Corning Duration lifetime shingle

This customer was the sellers agent from the earlier post. They switched insurance carriers last month and got a notice that they had to replace the roof in order to maintain coverage on the new policy. Not aware that insurance paid for the roof on the home she was the agent for, she thought they were going to have to pay out of pocket for a new roof. I told her to contact the insurance company that they had the policy through when the storm came through last year and file a claim. She was very surprised that she could do that. Needless to say, the previous insurance company ended up paying for the entire new roof & the only out of pocket expense they had to pay was their deductible!

This homeowner was selling their home and the buyers insurance company wouldn't insure the roof so they told the seller to either replace it or discount the price. They called me for a quote and during my inspection I found hail damage on it and got it paid for by the sellers insurance!
