Finishing up the final ICF job of the season before winter hits. A 30’x90’ garage/camp built into the hillside so the back wall and one side have 8ft high ICF walls so they can be backfilled against, while the front just has frost footers and will be wood framed from there! First two photos taken in the same exact spot, just 3 weeks apart!! Thanks to Phil Pontzer for getting some BIG trees, that were hanging out over the neighbors house, down on the ground so we could start clearing!! Notice the foundation is waterproofed and totally backfilled before the subfloor is even on… Let’s see you do that with superior walls or concrete block!! There’s no comparing the strength and energy efficiency of these foundations!! It’s pretty obvious we have been slacking majorly on keeping up with our page!! Remembering to take picture at the job sites is a struggle, but we are going to try and start doing better! Much of this year started out with smaller concrete and excavating jobs, as well as a handful of pads and foundations for garages. But this later part of the year is going to be packed with house foundations! We will be posting each of those as they wrap up! But for now here’s some of the photos I did remember to take so far this year on jobs! Finally getting close to wrapping up this big project we have been working on. Frost footers dug and poured for entire house, garage and porch’s. ICF walls put up and pumped with concrete. French drains and downspout lines installed and back filled with gravel. House floor, garage floor, front and back porches all poured and finished! Right handy to 130 yards of concrete in this house. Gotta come back at a later date and put some utility lines in and final grade.

Foundation dug, footers formed and poured, ICF foundation walls put up and poured, basement floor poured, foundation backfilled with gravel and lot graded!! Gonna be back a little later to put in a septic system.

Also been busy putting in a new driveway to another lot that we will be starting a house foundation on next week!
